Who We Are
Family Resource Center, Inc. (FRC), formerly known as Women’s Resource Center, is a private non-profit agency that was incorporated in 1986 to establish a programs and services for victims of crime in the US Virgin Islands. Our services began in 1981 with the opening of our emergency shelter for women and children. Since that time, FRC has expanded services to meet the needs of victims of child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
All services are offered at no cost to the clients we serve.

Mission Statement
To end family violence in the Virgin Islands through trauma-informed victim services, prevention, and education:
Provide Crisis Intervention, Counseling, Emergency Shelter, Court Advocacy, and other services to victims of family violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and other crimes.
Aid Victims in obtaining needed services including legal and financial assistance, temporary and permanent housing and employment so as to empower them to regain control of their lives
Facilitate job training and placement for victims in order to promote their financial independence and esteem
Provide Educational Outreach so as to make the entire Virgin Islands Community aware that violence never solves and only creates problems, and that there are alternative ways to resolve conflict
Promote and actively work for justice in order to attain peace in the home and community at large.
