It may have been a recent Saturday night live skit regarding NFTs that spiked the rapper’s interest. In the skit, Pete Davidson played Eminem and explained in a song what NFTs are with the music from Eminem’s Without me. There are three types of NFTs for sale and each one of them brings high-quality animations with an original beat produced by Eminem. There are 50 editions titled Tools of the Trade and STILL D.G.A.F and cost $5000. Those that were quick enough to buy them will receive a physical print numbered by hand and autographed by the rapper. The third one dubbed STAN’s Revenge is an edition of one that will be sold to the highest bidder. The rapper said:
“I wanted to give this drop the same vibe of, ‘Oh, man I gotta get just that one or maybe even the whole set!’ It’s been a lot of fun coming up with ideas from my own collecting passion. “

The Senior Producer at Nifty Gateway Ashley Ramos noted:
“We’re thrilled to welcome Eminem to our platform. The demand for NFTs continues to grow and we’re excited to bring this collaboration to our community and give them access to new artwork and music on Nifty Gateway’s marketplace.”
The news came at a very interesting time when most are joining in on the NFT craze including Snoop Dogg, ASAP rocky, Weezer, Aphex Twin, Grimes, The White Stripes, and Kings of Leon. Founded in 2018 by Griffin Cock Foster and Duncan Foster, the platform was acquired by Gemini in 2019.
