The mission of the
Family Resource Center, Inc. is to:

Provide crisis intervention,
counseling, emergency shelter, court advocacy and other services to
victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and other
crimes;

Aid victims in obtaining needed
services including legal and financial assistance, temporary and
permanent housing and employment so as to empower them to regain
control of their lives;

Facilitate job training and
placement for victims in order to promote their financial
independence and esteem;

Provide educational outreach so as
to make the whole community aware that violence never solves
problems but only creates other problems and that there are
alternative ways of resolving conflict more satisfying to all
concerned;

And to promote and actively work
for justice in order to attain peace in the home and community.
