Federal and local grants continue to assist FRC in our mission to help victims of crime and others in crisis. In FY 2005, FRC was awarded grants from the following entities:

  • Department of Human Services

  • Violence Against Women Act-LEPC

  • Victims of Crime Act-LEPC

  • Health Department Rape Prevention Grant

  • Emergency Food and Shelter

  • HUD Emergency Shelter Grant

  • Batterers’ Intervention Program

  • HUD Community Development Block Grant

During FY 2005, FRC experienced the major challenge of most non-profits: massive cuts from local and federal funding. This challenge has to be met with aggressive fundraising of all kinds.  Despite this, we continue to work closely with the local government agencies that facilitate the federal and local dollars to FRC. These grantors account for an estimated $500,000.00 of the FRC budget.

Fund Raising Activities
